  1. Terence had a knack for turns of phrase, and rightly skewered “dominator culture”. He was a force for good when it came to respecting and celebrating plant and fungi medicine.

    I was a bit disappointed to learn how much he fudged the whole 2012/Novelty thing, because he apparently prioritized a compelling story over the facts, not the least of which was that Novelty Theory’s predictions didn’t actually align with the Mayan Long Count calendar.

    I still listen to his talks and interviews on occasion. His energy and style are addictive. But I will always have to hedge my bets based on any of his Novelty Theory insights.

  2. Terrance was a neat guy. It’s important to remember that he often said he didn’t believe most of what he was saying. What he was doing was to show people how to think differently. He also didn’t want to work. I grew up around this era and in and around these fantastic people and am greatly thankful for it.
