ancient peoples were bumbling morons who wasted all their time doing stupid things for no reason. they ran in circles bonking heads like a looney toons cartoon. they were so dumb they didn't know which season it was to plant their crops without constructing a 48 story structure. they wasted their lives imagining interactions with non existant gods OR they were extremely intelligent and did wise things for the benefit of the entire planet. they consumed copious amounts of psychedelic plants that made them more intelligent and interacted with hyper intelligences far beyond our comprehension that could alter planetary trajectories thus making them active co-creators of this plane of existence.
