
Researchers are very close to discovering the long-lost tomb of Queen Nefertiti, one of Ancient Egypt's most enigmatic figures. Efforts are currently focused on the eastern part of the Valley of the Kings, near the burial site of the pharaoh, Hatshepsut.

Is this a legit ‘brand new discovery’ or have they already discovered it and they’re just slowly paying it out? Egypt likes to ‘rediscover’ stuff all the time and claim it’s new – it draws in tourists
this claim has been repeated for years now.
We have all of these new discoveries in Giza that could well lead to answering a lot of the big questions we have about Ancient Egypt, and we’re calling the Tomb of Nefartiti “the greatest discovery in Egypt in a century”.
