It’s really amazing how much more you can pull out of the same data with a bit of finesse and some new tooling

Shot using my Dwarf 3 in bortle 7 skies. Just about 2 hours of integration with 60s frames.
Processed in pixinsight using roughly the following process
1. Stack via WBPP
2. DBE
3. noiseXterminator & blurXterminator
4. Background Neutralization
5. Color Calibration
6. Masked Stretch
7. Remove stars with starXTerminator
7. HDR followed by a few low intensity LHE passes on core
8. 2 passes of LHE on whole galaxy, first with a low radius, then with a high radius
9. Use curves to anchor black and boost saturation
10. Play around with curves and the saturation tool to get colors right before re-adding stars
