

Lady Lions cruise past Comets, 64-34
GROVE CITY — The Washington Lady Lions (8-3) traveled north to take on the Central Crossing Comets (3-6) on Tuesday night for non-conference girls basketball action.
Hot shooting from Kate Miller and Jayden Hatfield, who each connected on four threes and poured in 18 points, propelled the Lady Lions to a 64-34 victory.
Washington led 19-6 after the opening quarter and extended the lead to 34-12 at the half.
They would outscore the Comets 30-22 in the second half to close out the win.
Washington (9-3) plays again on Saturday night at Jackson (2-10).
