  1. In October 1975, following sightings of strange lights and cone-shaped objects over a remote Norwegian island, a massive 64-foot ring was discovered pressed into the hard, rocky ground. The Norwegian Armed Forces investigated and found that landing a 16-ton helicopter inside the mark did not leave a similar impression, leading experts to conclude that the ring required over 50 tons of force and was not made by any known aircraft. Natural explanations like animals or “fairy rings” were quickly debunked, and the mystery deepened when grass refused to grow within the track and a second print appeared in 1979. To this day, the perfectly preserved ring remains an unexplained.
