Before anyone asks (because it’s been the subject of ridicule on other subs): virtual autopsy just means an autopsy using things like MRI and CT scans. It’s relatively common in archaeology and by forensic scientists/MEs when there’s a reason typical autopsy methods can’t be used. Â
(I believe the tridactyls are a hoax, but this is a legitimate method.)
