About the launch: On the 22nd of December, a H3 rocket launched from the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan. Unfortunately a failure in the upper stage meant that the payload, a navigation satellite of the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System constellation, was not able to be delivered to it’s operational orbit.

I have hope that MHI will be able to rectify this issue for future H3 launches. They have a fairly good track record of delivering payloads to orbit.
