the article just describes how agencies are observing this asteroid to predict its path and how other agencies have ways to detect and see near earth asteroids. also the guy mentioned in this article, Avi Loeb, constantly makes unfounded claims so dont trust much of what he says. overall this is just a classic click bait title

IAWN is coordinating [an exercise](https://iawn.net/obscamp/3I_ATLAS/) in measuring comet positions, which is challenging because they are fuzzy and asymmetric. 3I/ATLAS just happened to go by at a convenient time for that. No one is launching any spacecraft toward it.
