Yeah, not a great mystery. Clearly it’s an art piece, and the sculptor put it there in the middle of the night. The mystery is a part of the art experience here. The specators are a part of the art in this case.
Just like those steel beams that were located “out of nowhere” a while ago.

Here in the U.K. the council place rocks in all parks and play spaces…god knows why but they do.
