This has been going on for over 20 minutes i am in the south of england facing north east. Based on the way the flashes happen it is not artificial. It also flashes white sometimes and the colour in the sky sometimes stays for up to ten seconds sometimes only flashes as seen in the video. Could this be some sort of meteor shower? i know the Geminids shower can be colourful but i feel i am facing the wrong direction to see that

If this video is actually a meteor, it looks like an extremely bright bolide (which yeah, it kinda does, to my amateur eye at least).
Geminids are going on still.

This does look a lot more like a transformer or electrical station situation like the other commenter suggested.
I saw the same thing when a electrical transformer station blew up because a racoon climbed inside .
Is there sound associated?
My brain saw blue and immediately thought ionized air (nuclear) ðŸ˜
Looks like electrical fire for me, but no average pole transformer will burn for twenty minutes, it would have to be a bigger facility (which would prob knock power out for a large area).
