Sighting Louisville KY 8/9/25 9:14pm

Location: Louisville, KY (Looking towards Clarksville, IN)

Meant to post this at the time. This is right on the Ohio river in Louisville looking towards Clarksville IN. Saw these two insanely bright orange lights either above the river or barely over Clarksville, I couldn’t precisely. The video makes it look like they’re changing colors, but they were a static dark orange color which you can see at a few points in the video. No movement at all. I was at a stop light when I took this, so immediately after the video ends I found a place to park and ran back to get a better video but they were gone, less than 5 minutes later. I see airplanes come in to land at the louisville airport from that direction all the time, and it was not that- they were only a few hundred feet in the air, and were not moving- not to mention way closer together than commercial aircraft would be. The only prosaic explanation I could come up with was that they were drones reflecting light off of the sunset…. but based on how insanely bright they were, and the perfect circular shape, that seems kind of unlikely. Totally open to a prosaic explanation/debunk, but this was shockingly odd to see- as you can hear in the video lol.
