RING OF FIRE The European Space Agency shared photos of the February 17 annular solar eclipse, as captured by its Proba-2 spacecraft during its orbits of Earth. During the astronomical phenomenon, “the Moon slipped perfectly between the Sun and Earth,” creating a “glowing ring of fire.” The eclipse was not visible in the Philippines. The next annular solar eclipse visible in the country is on February 28, 2063. (🎥: ESA/IPEV/ItaliAntartide – Erika Rea)March 6, 2026
