Time: 13th November 2025, between 21:05 and 21:15 local time
Location: europe, netherlands, bussum, was looking into the sky towards west
weather conditions: cloudy sky, no stars visible, foggy, no rain/winds
Was getting ready to watch my show, kept getting distracted by "helicopter" noises that just didn't go away. Sound came, went off, then came/circled back, went off, came back… – for about ~3-5min?
Stood up to see what the hell is going on. I look into the sky and see 2 flying objects.
- 1 is further ahead of 2
- 1 is flying (steadily) at a linear, faster speed than 2
- Therefore it appears that 2 is following 1, but it couldn't keep up
- 2 had lights/beams on that you could see "scatter" through the foggy sky, they were targeted towards 1's direction
- 1 was much brighter in light than 2. 1 was a bright white/yellow round ball with a large red light blinking on and off, slowly
- 2 did not look like this. the difference was noticable (but I didn't pay as much attention to 2, cause it got hidden into the foggy clouds, except it's visible high beams. 1 definitely stole the show regarding "light strength"
At that point (when I stood up to check) they were hovering for about 10 seconds before they both flew away.
I couldn't grab my phone to record/make pictures cause it was charging and everything went so fast, I didn't think quick enough lol.
Upon checking ads-b, I found out it's a government helicopter, that left off in amsterdam, I'm assuming "2", but nowhere is a 2nd (1) flying object reported. I've attached screenshots. It was circling like this above our town, which explains the annoying sound. Then continued east, where it did another circle above another town, went south,then went back to the Amsterdam Airport.
Does anyone have info on what that was?
