Anyone know what this is? Seen in Eastern NC

I could only get this video of the boomerang for a second, but it was moving very slowly with 4 flying red lights following it. At one point, 2 of the red lights started circling eachother before disappearing behind the trees. My camera would not record or focus at all after this one.

Cool vid but I never get why they’d flash their lights like that.
