Taken with Samsung S25u and an octopus tripod, each of the 3 shots was 30s x4 with built in stacking. ISO 640, -1.2ev, F1.9, 13mm and some color correction with photopea.
This is my first attempt at combining 4:3 shots into a panorama so it may be stitched together a bit crudely lol.
Last night I fell asleep early, but woke around 10pm and saw an aurora photo posted from Oklahoma of all places. With clear skies I had to drive out of town and try my luck. By the time I was setup near a windfarm the walls of pink and green I saw on the drive were gone, mainly just leaving a faint red glow across half the sky.
I've been using this camera since March, and it always shocks me with how much shows for such a small sensor. I've used it from rural Kansas to the Great Sand Dunes park in CO, allowing 30s for up to 24 stacks can lead to some really cool results. I wish I had access to a wider lens, but I've never seen the northern lights this bright before as a Kansan so it was a special night. Now I'm hoping tomorrow will give us another show!
