Dst index has plunged to –225 nT, ranking as the 5th strongest storm of the Solar Cycle 25, and it’s still in progress!

    This breaks my brain in so many ways

    1 – would it look different if it was simulated from directly above or below one of the poles?

    2 – is it simulated or satellite “imagery”?

    3 – the Earth leaves a wake in all of that electro-magnetic energy?
