An extraterrestrial expert suggests that an interstellar object, which appears to be an “alien ship” with a “complex jet structure” and a “glowing halo” is currently passing by the sun.

The enigmatic interstellar object, known as 3I/ATLAS, was reportedly at a 29-degree separation from the Sun. Stacked images reveal a “large glowing halo extending out to half a million kilometers” with at least “7 distinct jets.”

Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb suggests some of these are anti-tails in the sunward direction. In an article penned by Loeb, he stated: “This morning, at 4.10 Universal Time (UT) on November 8, 2025, the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS showed a complex jet structure. M. Jäger, G. Rhemann and E. Prosperi observed 3I/ATLAS at 29 degrees separation from the Sun in the sky.”

He further added: “The stacked images, constituting 24 exposures in the green filter, each lasting 35 seconds , 2 exposures in a red filter and 2 exposures in a blue filter, show a large glowing halo extending out to half a million kilometers (5 arcminutes).”, reports the Daily Star.

“The images show at least 7 distinct jets, some of which are anti-tails in the sunward direction.”

During the time of observations, 3I/ATLAS was 7–10 degrees above the horizon. Eventually, twilight interfered with the observations, which took place under bright moonlight.

“However, it’s still uncertain what these network of jets are associated with. They could potentially be connected to pockets of ice on the surface of a natural cometary nucleus. At the same time, Loeb claims that they could be “combing from a set of jet thrusters used for navigation of a spacecraft. “.

This development comes as the notorious 3I/ATLAS has left astronomers stunned by tearing through our solar system on the most extremely elongated orbit ever recorded, shattering all previous records for orbital eccentricity.

Its striking path serves as a cosmic signature, proving 3I/ATLAS is a genuine interstellar wanderer.

The finding is remarkable because most celestial bodies in our solar system orbit the sun in routes that resemble tidy circles or smooth ovals.

But 3I/ATLAS stands apart as it’s journeying on a trajectory that is far more elongated – almost like an extremely long, narrow oval. This represents the most stretched-out orbit researchers have ever documented.

Due to its path being so extraordinary, astronomers are certain that 3I/ATLAS didn’t originate from our solar system.

Rather, it’s an interstellar guest, meaning it arrived from somewhere deep beyond the sun and is simply traveling through before departing back into the vast cosmos.
