3I/ATLAS, ever since its discovery in July and perihelion on October 29, has sparked conversation, with a section of experts casting doubts on the nature of the interstellar comet. Scientists like Harvard Astrophysicist Avi Loeb speculate that the comet could be more than just an ancient rock hurled in the space towards the Solar System. His compilation of 10 anomalies in the third interstellar interloper hints to an alien probe with artificial propulsion.

While the former acting administrator of NASA, Sean Duffy, dismissed the claims of 3I/Atlas being driven by an engine of extraterrestrial origin, there has been no official comment by Jared Isaacman, the Trump nominee for NASA chief. In his interview with Shawn Ryan, Duffy quipped, “What the claims are and what we have seen at NASA don’t match up. I think humans love conspiracy theories,” adding, “What the claims are and what we have seen at NASA don’t match up. I think humans love conspiracy theories.”

Meanwhile, appearing on Murphy’s show, Isaacman made the following statement on UFOs and aliens.

I think if we are thinking about the entirety of the universe, there is almost certainly other life out there. I would bet heavily on that. I would bet there’s intelligent life out there.

Have they interacted with our planet? I would say that the odds are incredibly low. Couple of things working against you. You cannot exceed the cosmic speed limit, which is the speed of light. So when you think about the trillions of galaxies and all the stars and all the planets out there, the odds that they would have found us and somehow have been travel to at a time when our civilization was alive. You think of the industrial age that would give off clues of our existence just seems incredibly low.

So if I had to bet on the UFOs, I’d probably put on my Draken hat again and say it is either our stuff or its our adversaries that are checking in on us.

It’s amazing, right? Like if the aliens are gonna visit, you could just have those flying Tic Tacs show up over New York City or somewhere else. But they all seem to be around our naval bases and in the Las Vegas area. So I think that probably leads me to believe it’s something that’s human-created.

Super low probability of Jared Isaacman cozying up to the idea that 3I/ATLAS may be more than just an icy rock.
