    I forgot where I read it, but supposedly these “Greys” are defacto slaves built by a higher intelligence and specifically designed to be dependent on local Earth resources (cattle, etc.) so they don’t flee and abandon their mission.

    I always found this to be an elegant theory as to why they would need livestock and have so many human-like features. It’s also creepy AF which is always a bonus.
