January 20th, 2026, marks the 30th anniversary of the Varginha Incident.

Vitório Pacaccini, the researcher responsible for finding and securing all the anonymous military witnesses and their testimonies, just released a teaser trailer for his upcoming project, the Incidente em Varginha feature film.

Pacaccini is also credited for informing the Chereze family of the alleged capture of an alien creature by the undercover police officer Marco Eli Chereze, and his possible death by an alien pathogen or similar.

He is the author of the first book on the case, "Incidente em Varginha", which he independently printed and sold in October 1996. The book was sold out back then, but was translated into Italian and English by early 2023, and a second edition is also being printed and sold in Brazilian Portuguese.

Pacaccini states in several interviews that he remained in hiding during the previous 20 years to safeguard himself and his family from the threats he had received during his Varginha research. He was also the main witness of a video featuring a creature, that was shown to him by a high-ranking military friend in 2012.

His resurgence is officially made on the Brazilian premiere of James Fox's Moment of Contact in October. He is now looking for funding for this project.
