Highlights

(1) The risk from airburst-sized NEOs might be larger than currently estimated.

(2) A Taurid resonant swarm, if it exists, will pass close to Earth in 2032 and 2036.

(3) If a Taurid swarm exists, Earth could experience higher impact risk in those years.

(4) In 2032 and 2036, objects in a hypothetical Taurid swarm could be observable.

(5) Targeted surveys in those years could give advance warning of imminent impacts.
