Maybe because he’s not yet braindead and realized that flying on a barely tested rocket of a company ruled by a man who lies pretty much about everything is generally a bad idea?

in 2024 it is 2030 (6 years from now)
At this rate the mission would never happen. This is a valid reason for the cancellation.

I feel bad for the participants. Hopefully Starship works out and some of them can fly sometime in the future.
