I’m interested in the 1990 Turkmenistan UFO incident described in The Paranormal Scholar episode shown above. A UFO apparently shot down 3 ground to air missiles fired at it and then forced 2 Russian interceptors to crash when they closed on it. Both crews were killed. Are there any other references on this incident as Google isn’t my friend looking for stuff on this?

This is an incident which I haven’t heard about before and which has nothing when I search on it. Not sure of the spelling of the Russian commander in charge at the time? As it involves an active response by a UFO to a perceived threat I would have thought there would be more information about this.
