Our entire understanding of Physiscal reality is based on mathematical models rather than the real jist of what something TRULY is. The behavior of particles and the phenomena they exhibit is often described and predicted through mathematical equations.
While these models are incredibly successful in making accurate predictions, they fail to provide an intuitive or “real” sense of the underlying nature of particles.
We don’t understand what a particle truly is what it actually looks like neither its true essence. Particles are not tiny balls. In quantum physics, particles exhibit both wave and particle-like characteristics, challenging the mainstream illusion of “little balls.” Portrayed in highschool textbooks. we only know them as point like mathematical “things”…. The term “point-like” refers to the fact that, at the smallest scales, “particles” are treated as having no internal structure or size in traditional terms.
They exhibit behaviors that are more accurately described by mathematical probability distributions than by classical notions of solid, defined objects. So we truly, don’t know what they are, our understanding of particles involves measuring their effects rather than having a clear, intuitive picture of what they are. The focus is on predicting and understanding their behaviors through mathematical models and experimental observations. So when we say light is both a particle and a wave. We are strictly speaking in mathematical terms. It’s real nature. The jist of its essense is unknown. our understanding is based on mathematical models and experimental observations.
Math can’t explain what I need answers to. So here’s what I believe so far.
Consciousness can be described as any complex system expressing itself. This implies every physical object has some form of consciousness. But wether or not it’s metaphysical is unknown. Though in my opinion I believe it is.
This has implications that everything in existence has a form of consciousness. But wether or not everyone has their own individual consciousness is unknown. In fact. All can be one. Just like all the cells in your body are individuals, but make up you.
Integrated Information Theory (IIT). IIT posits that consciousness arises from the integration of information within a system.
