Ok I’ll tackle the translations. From the three texts shown on the landmass, here it is in order:
“The inhabitants of these countries do not want to engage in trade with foreigners because friendship with them is prohibited by their great king’s laws, and severe penalties are imposed on those who violate them. These inhabitants are idolaters.”
“In these countries, which are not well known, men go naked, and among them, the older ones take on the role of kings or governors in a sort of republic. However, they are considered barbarians without civilization or culture.”
“It is an abundant country with infinite treasures and exquisite porcelain that is as precious as the finest gemstone.”

I think the point here is that Antarctic wasn’t discovered until 1820 ish. Didn’t feature on modern maps until after then. Generally the theory goes that previous civilisations were not advanced enough to sail or map Antarctica

The region that they are showing is meant to be Australia, you can see New Zealand’s two islands along side it. Not sure why people think this is Antarctica. Mabye im wrong though.

I want to buy a copy of this but the biggest one I could find was only 28”x28”, so I don’t think it’ll be able to show the fine details well.

Some of the drawings on it look suspiciously modern.
The one of the Dr dragon with a Dinosaur head shape for instance..
Plus the world hadn’t been mapped yet to this degree.
Also the Tiero Del Fuego is listed along the entire top ring of the antarctic shelf.
It’s really on the tip of south America, but i suspect that its name as The Fire Land on top of Antarctica is being used by folks with an agenda
