    >The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Sunday said that space enthusiasts across the world can watch the landing of Chandrayaan-3 at 6:04 pm on August 23. Chandrayaan-3 landing can be watched live on the official ISRO website, its official YouTube channel, ISRO’s Facebook page and DD National from 5:27 pm onwards on August 23. You can also tune into India Today and Aaj Tak for the live broadcast

Someone else can check me on this, but I believe aug23rd 18:04pm IST is Aug23rd 05:34am ~~PST~~ PDT and 08:34am ~~EST~~EDT respectively. Enjoy the show! Good luck all involved!

  2. Just remember to hold space to slow down. Seems like a lot of rockets have been crashing into the moon lately

  6. Going to be a big PR win for India if they pull this off after Russia failed. Rising power vs. has-been narrative.

Is there a good breakdown of the indian craft, specs and expectations? How long it’s expected to last, plans for where it’s going to go, etc? Really exciting stuff coming from India’s space agency!

  8. Everytime I hear about space missions, especially about the moon, it puts a smile on my face.

  9. They should build a time machine to travel back to 1960 so they can unlock the tech to land on the moon with 512mb ram card

  10. I’m very curious to see r/all’s reaction if this crashes given all the grief they were just throwing at Russia.

  11. I really want it to succeed as an Indian, it would mean more investments in space research in future
