Disclosure isn’t the same as the public gaining insights into these secret programs. So far, we are making discoveries as a community effort. Disclosure may happen, but it will be very limited in scope, expect an acknowledgment of alien reality. But NOT about the covert reverse-engineering programs or any results gotten from them.
If private enterprises have been involved in these programs, I wouldn’t assume that any entity or entities have exclusive access. The DOD is running the show. If US military contractors are involved, it could be to implement actual prototypes based on information gained in the reverse-engineering programs. The DOD may have had eighty years to study these artifacts. It’s not ridiculous to think they were able to partially decode the alien physics eventually.
The DOD would next have to rely on a reliable, trusted manufacturer to make the physical vehicles, materials, and weapons based on the alien tech.
