Heads up Arkansas stargazers! Comet PanSTARRS could put on a pretty neat display for those up early enough over the next few mornings.

The comet, officially called C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS), has been getting brighter in the predawn hours and may be visible from Arkansas under clear, dark conditions. The best window to view this comet will be around April 19-21 before it gets lost due to the sun’s glare.

You best chance to spot it in Arkansas will be by looking towards the eastern sky about 60 to 90 minutes before sunrise. Make sure you have a clear view with little light pollution. Binoculars will help a lot.

It will likely look more like a faint, fuzzy streak than a bright, dramatic object, but for many, spotting it will still be exciting. Good luck!
