CASTLETON, Vt. (WCAX) – For the second season in a row, the BFA – St. Albans Comets are on top of the D1 softball world.
The Comets downed Colchester 2-1 on Friday afternoon.
“My sophomore year we didn’t fully make it to the championship, so just staying confident, keeping our effort up and just not letting it up at all,” senior Megan Gonyeau said. “Just pushing through the tough times, getting through each game and putting our best foot forward was beneficial to us this year.”
