Six members of the 2026 Greenville Comets baseball team have been recognized by the coaches of the South Central Conference for their play this season.
They include seniors Rowdy Sussenbach, Dominic Sanchez, Drake Curry, Trey Melton, Dayton Oliver, and sophomore Cannon Hamel.
Sussenbach was a first team selection at two positions, pitcher and infielder. Dominic Sanchez was the all-conference first team catcher.
Curry was named to second team twice, as a pitcher and infielder. Melton was a second team outfielder.
Voted to the SCC third team were Oliver as an infielder and Hamel as an outfielder.
The Comets were the South Central Conference champions with a 10-0 record, and finished the season with a 22-10 overall mark.
