NASA astronauts Randy Bresnik, Andre Douglas, and Frank Rubio will be joined by European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Luca Parmitano in the Artemis III mission planned for 2027, NASA announced.
The mission will test “complex capabilities” needed to make humanity’s return to the Moon’s surface possible, specifically docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit.
