Prada designs the cooling underwear NASA astronauts will wear on the Moon

On June 9, 2026 in the US, Axiom Space and Italian fashion house Prada have unveiled a new Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment — the key inner layer of the AxEMU spacesuit — designed to keep astronauts cool, ventilated, and safe during spacewalks of up to eight hours as NASA prepares to return humans to the lunar surface for the first time in over 50 years as part of the Artemis IV mission.
