Velma-Alma Public Schools graduated the Class of 2026 Comets with a ceremony Thursday, May 21. The commencement ceremony graduated 45, who had the opportunity to hand out roses to family members and look back on their accomplishments.
Members of the Class of 2026 heard a commencement address from co-salutatorians Landon Swisher and Zander Riffe, along with co-valedictorians Presley Condit, Wyatt Davison, Daylee McGuire and Riley Pitchford. Seniors then stepped forward to receive their diplomas and move their tassels from one side to the other, ready to embark on a new journey.
