(TMX/Gray News) – A recently released video from a U.S. military platform appears to show a strangely shaped unidentified object.
The video, caught by an infrared camera aboard the platform in 2013, was reported by the United States Central Command to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
The 1-minute, 46-second video depicts an “area of contrast” that appears in the shape of an eight-pointed star. In the video, the shape moves in and out of the field of view, at times leaving a visible mark.
No further information about the video has been released at this time.
Earlier this month, the Pentagon released a batch of UFO files.
Since Congress ordered their release in 2022, the Pentagon has been working to declassify documents on “unidentified anomalous phenomena” and UFO sightings.
President Donald Trump brought attention back to those efforts by teasing a major dump of files since February.
“Whereas previous Administrations have failed to be transparent on this subject, with these new Documents and Videos, the people can decide for themselves, ‘WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?’ Have Fun and Enjoy!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post the day the files were released.
Included in the release were old State Department cables, FBI documents and transcripts from NASA of crewed flights into space.
Experts urge caution regarding the released files, saying videos of unidentified anomalous phenomena can be misinterpreted or mischaracterized by people who lack an understanding of advanced military technology.
In 2024, the Pentagon released a report that refuted claims that the U.S. government had confirmed the existence of alien life or recovered alien technology.
