Mark Richard Nipple, 69, of Whitestown, Indiana, died on May 8, 2026. He was born in Logansport to Richard and Geneva Nipple. His childhood in Rockfield instilled a lifelong passion for deer hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. Mark was a proud Ironworker. Mark’s favorite role was that of a grandparent. He treasured his time with his grandkids and loved being their grandpa.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Scott (wife Amanda) and Jamie Harrison (husband Adam); his four grandchildren Zander, Sidney, Nolan and Ellie; his sisters Marsha Cosgrove and Cathy Tully. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Troy and sister Lori Dyer.

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday May 30, at Rockfield Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will also be held May 30 at French Post Park from 1:30 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation can be made in Mark’s memory.
