Marah McGinn belted a home run in the first and second innings to spark the Comets to a 16-4 victory over Champlain Valley Union on Monday, May 18. Her five RBI’s accounted for half the runs the Comets scored in the first two innings. Megan Gonyeau, the starting pitcher, was the only other Comet who had two hits. Thirteen Comets had hits in a well-balanced attack for the 9-0 Comets.

Megan Gonyeau started on the mound and went three hitless innings with 4 K’s.

The Comets jump back on the bus on Tuesday, May 19, for their final road trip of the season at South Burlington.
