JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A retired NASA astronaut will deliver a community lecture and meet-and-greet at the Valley View School District this summer.
Cmdr. Susan Kilrain, an aerospace engineer and retired astronaut and Navy test pilot, will speak at the Valley View Fine Arts Center on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m.
The event is open to the community.
Kilrain flew to space twice, and was the youngest person and second woman to pilot a space shuttle.
