It was a happy day for the Greenville Lady Comets soccer team at Tom Doll Field Tuesday.
The GHS girls defeated Pana 2-0 in a South Central Conference contest.
Ada Jefferson scored two goals, both in the second half.
Getting the shutout as goal keeper was Maddie Beckert. She made two saves.
The Lady Comets are now 4-2 in the conference and 11-7 overall. They play at Carlinville Thursday, then host Wesclin on Friday.
