Collison Course is a side quest that you can do in ARC Raiders for Tian Wen. Wen asks you to take on a Comet and bring back an Igniter in one piece. The real trick is taking out the Comet before it explodes. You need to choose the correct weapons to use against this enemy, and find creative ways to prevent it from reaching you before it explodes. Here’s what you need to know about how to complete the Collison Course in ARC Raiders.

You can complete the Collison Course side quest in ARC Raiders by destroying a Comet. The Comet can appear on all maps, except for Stella Montis.
How to Find A Comet
The Comet is a round ARC that rolls around the map, making it a similar design to the Surveyor. However, these two designs greatly vary from each other. The Comet has a small blue tile on the top of its head, making it a bit easier to see from a distance. If you see the blue light on its head while it’s rolling around, that means it’s a Comet, and it is much more dangerous than the Surveyor.
We recommend making your way to the Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, The Blue Gate, Spaceport, or Riven Tides to find a Comet. There are several Comets patrolling the Wreckage area of the Riven Tides.
Now, the real trick to defeating a Comet is to take it down before it gets too close. If it’s too close to you, it’ll explode, likely breaking your shield, and sometimes downing you when you don’t have too much health left. It does a large chunk of damage when it releases this explosion.
However, you can stop it from exploding if you can defeat it quickly enough. A good way to take one down quickly is to use a Hullcracker or a Wolfpack. There are other, smaller weapons you can potentially use, such as the Renegade, Anvil, or Torrente. These are all good methods for taking down a Comet before it has a chance to explode.
If the Comet explodes when you’re trying to complete this quest, it won’t count. Plus, you won’t be able to get the Comet Ignitor! This is the second portion of the quest for Tian Wen. You need to loot the Ignitor from a successfully destroyed Comet and bring it back to her.
After you’ve defeated this foe, bring the Ignitor back to Wen, and you’ll earn your reward! She gives you a Canto I, an Extended Medium Mag III, and a Muzzle Brake II.
