UFO disclosure has been all the buzz on social media, amid the death or disappearance of at least 12 scientists in the USA who were connected to advanced nuclear research. UFO and paranormal writer David Wilcock’s suicide only a few days after the death of his biographer Wynn Free. The disclosure community at large is trying to connect the dots while skeptics don’t see a coherent pattern. Is it something sinister? We have no clue as to what is going on right now and probably we never will. It’s best to let the families grieve their departed beloved ones while we move on to investigate the things that concerned these gentle souls. One of them being 3I/ATLAS.

The exocomet that was discovered by the ATLAS observatory on July 01, 2025 soon became the hottest topic beyond the scientific and stargazing communities. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb traced at least 22 anomalies on the interstellar interloper, including a few that raised a few eyebrows, casting doubts on the natural origins of the exocomet.

However, nothing dramatic has happened since its perihelion on October 29, 2025 and Earth flyby on December 19, 2025. On March 16, 2026 it approached Jupiter and the next day did a flyby of the jovian satellite Eupheme. Nothing extraordinary happened. No technosignature detected. No black swan event. Nothing apocalyptic as was speculated. Now that the hype is over, a few can’t seem to shrug off 3I/ATLAS as a mere exocomet. But data reveals otherwise. Nonetheless, where exactly is the vagabond exocomet now and where is it headed?

In his latest blog Professor Avi Loeb stated that

By now, 3I/ATLAS is at a distance of a billion kilometers or 6.7 times the Earth-Sun separation, well beyond Jupiter.

He added

Given how well aligned its trajectory was with the orbital plane of Earth around the Sun, we might never witness a visitor like it in our lifetime.

Is there any hope of further data? Prof Loeb reminds

We are still waiting for data from NASA’s Juno spacecraft, taken around March 16, 2026 when 3I/ATLAS came closest to Jupiter.
