Steven Spielberg made a UFO movie called Disclosure Day and given everything we’ve been covering on this site over the last few months, the timing alone is enough to make you raise an eyebrow.

The most recent trailer dropped back in March and over the last few days five minutes of footage was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Spielberg told the audience that nothing we’ve seen in any of the trailers takes place in the third act of the movie.

Gotta love that, right? Trailers always give away the entire plot in three minutes just to sell tickets and that’s why I never watch trailers. The crazy part is that the trailer for Disclosure Day looks like it gave away a lot of the movie, but apparently that’s not the case. None of what you’ll watch below appears in the final act.

Here’s where I have questions

Steven Spielberg also said that Disclosure Day is more “truth than fiction” when it comes to the UFO topic. The question to follow is obvious. What the fuck does that mean?

Disclosure Day: More Truth Than Fiction

DISCLOSURE DAY at #CinemaCon:

“There’s more truth than fiction that you’re going to see on June 12” – Steven Spielberg notes of ‘Disclosure Day’

Is Spielberg about to show us real alien footage in the third act? Did he crack the code on extraterrestrial life over the last few years and decided a $200 million blockbuster was the best way to drop it on the world?

Probably not. It’s more likely he just means the movie is a realistic depiction of how the government would actually respond if someone could prove aliens exist and was hellbent on disclosing it to the public.

However, that’s exactly what you would say if you were trying to build hype for Disclosure Day while staying just close enough to the truth to keep people guessing. Spielberg knows what he’s doing. He always does. Whether that sentence was genuine or calculated, it worked and now everyone is talking about it.

The Bigger Picture Is What Makes This Interesting

If you’ve been following The Liberty Line’s coverage of the UFO and missing scientists stories, you already know there’s been a whole lot of alien chatter around the White House lately.

Obama came out and said aliens are real before suspiciously walking it back the second the clip went viral. President Trump has talked about transparency on the topic and went as far as tasking a group of people to gather and release UFO-related information to the public. The government created Aliens.gov and while it was initially dormant, it has recently been undergoing behind-the-scenes development.

Now you have Spielberg telling a room full of people that his UFO movie is rooted in truth. Layer that on top of the political landscape and it starts to feel like something larger is moving behind the scenes. Or it’s just brilliant marketing.

Honestly it’s probably just brilliant marketing. But the coincidences keep stacking up and at some point you have to start asking questions.

Here’s What I Keep Coming Back To…

If this isn’t just Disclosure Day marketing trash, I’m not sure how I feel about Hollywood being in bed with whatever is happening in politics on this topic.

These reveals that never actually happen, or when they do amount to absolutely nothing, all while the government ignores the will of the people who have been demanding transparency for decades.

I’ve been going back and forth on this with friends and it keeps coming up in conversations about the missing and murdered scientists we’ve been covering.

It’s a strange time and it’s only getting stranger.

Think about it. If the government, and now Hollywood, is positioning itself to release actual information about UFOs and extraterrestrial life, they wouldn’t do that unless we’ve reached the point where it’s inevitable.

There is absolutely no scenario where the government just wakes up one morning and says “hey, here’s what we’ve been hiding from you for 80 years” unless it’s a serious threat to national security or they literally don’t have a choice anymore.

You don’t voluntarily disclose the biggest secret in human history unless your hand is being forced. Whether that’s directly related to UFOs or it’s another piece of something else they’re trying to cover up, the logic holds.

They wouldn’t tell us unless they had to.

It’s all a mess. Disclosure Day looks good though.
