Wroclaw university, OrbitsIQ Global, ESA improve satellite data transfer with new spectrum sharing research
Wroclaw University of Technology, the Luxembourg company OrbitsIQ Global and the European Space Agency announced a breakthrough in data transmission technology for satellite IoT sensors. The technology E-SSA (Enhanced Spread Spectrum Aloha) is expected to accelerate data transfer for the growing number of IoT devices on Earth, supporting many more simultaneous connections to satellites thanks to a new form of spectrum sharing.
