Flying over Canada late last night, I watched this “cloud” and two objects rise over the horizon from the north. It was over us within 20 seconds and went into the darkness behind the earth shortly there after. This is a 5 second exposure photo. The dots are stars that aren’t moving. The cloud and the two objects with it were definitely moving.
Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Hate to burst the extraterrestrial bubble, but this is a textbook example of a rocket upper stage performing a propellant blowdown (fuel venting) in Low Earth Orbit (LEO)
