An unexpected moment allegedly took place at the Foo Fighters’ drummer’s wedding.
During the Saturday, April 4 episode of the Go with Elmo podcast, Ilan Rubin recalled a surprising event that allegedly occurred between Tom DeLonge and Trent Reznor.
According to Rubin, 37, the Angels & Airwaves musician is allegedly known for breaking out alien autopsy images.

The former Nine Inch Nails drummer claimed such an instance happened at his 2020 wedding between DeLonge, 50, and Reznor, 60.
“When my wife and I got married, we finish the ceremony. Everyone kind of goes to the reception or whatever, and she and I go up to the suite for her to kind of get out of the wedding dress and having some champagne,” Rubin said on the podcast. “And we finally get down to the reception, where the first two people I see are Tom and Trent.”

After describing DeLonge as a “really tall guy” at 6’4″ who hovered over Reznor at “5’7,” Rubin said he allegedly saw DeLonge whip his phone out.
“I know how this goes: ‘Hey, check this out.’ And I’m thinking, ‘What is he possibly showing him right now?,’” he said, knowing that DeLonge loved to discuss his knowledge about space with friends. “Then I go straight up to them like, ‘Hey guys, how’s it going?’ Tom’s like, ‘Dude, congratulations. I’ll see you in a bit, I’m going to get a drink.’”
Then, Rubin asked the Nine Inch Nails founder what DeLonge had shown him.
“He’s like, ‘that dude just showed me a dead alien,’” Reznor allegedly said. “Nobody else could conduct themselves in that way, and it be normal, but he’s [Tom’s] just so unapologetically him. It’s infectious. It’s great. I’ll always remember that.”
Back in 2015, DeLonge famously left Blink-182 to launch To the Stars Academy, a venture dedicated to helping the public have a better understanding of UFOs.
He also executive-produced the six-part docuseries Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation, which explored unexplained aerial phenomena alongside former members of the CIA and Department of Defense.
In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, DeLonge opened up about the show and how To The Stars Academy was an effort to give people transparency about extraterrestrials.

“For a long period of time, material was largely classified, and it was classified for good reasons — for issues dealing with national security,” he said at the time. “But thanks to the partners at To The Stars Academy, we now have a vehicle to transition a lot of those learnings over to the public for the first time.”
Added DeLonge, “So for the people that don’t want to believe that this could be real, or this really counteracts their own personal belief systems, this is now an era where we have the evidence for people to look at, to digest, and hopefully — over time — get them to a place where they can live with this reality.”
In 2019, the Navy confirmed that UFO videos shared by the singer and guitarist contained “unexplained aerial phenomena.”
