Crazy things happen at rich people’s parties.

According to Foo Fighters’ drummer, Ilan Rubin, there was a weird exchange between Tom DeLonge of Blink 182 and singer-songwriter Trent Reznor at his wedding. Rubin explained the alleged exchange during a recent appearance on the “Go With Elmo” podcast.

DeLonge is allegedly well-known for showing off alien autopsy images. So, it’s likely that no one was surprised when he chose to do so at Rubin’s wedding.

“When my wife and I got married, we finish the ceremony,” Rubin said. “Everyone goes to the reception or whatever, and she and I go up to the suite for her to get out of the wedding dress and have some champagne,” Rubin said on the podcast. “And we finally get down to the reception, where the first two people I see are Tom and Trent.”

Rubin then explains how DeLonge, who stands at 6’4” took his phone out to start showing Reznor some alien images.

“I know how this goes: ‘Hey, check this out.’ And I’m thinking, ‘What is he possibly showing him right now?,’” Rubin continued. “Then I go straight up to them like, ‘Hey guys, how’s it going?’ Tom’s like, ‘Dude, congratulations. I’ll see you in a bit, I’m going to get a drink.’”

Reznor then explained to Rubin that DeLonge had just shown him images of dead aliens. Yet, Rubin didn’t see anything wrong with the behavior, as the Blink-182 star was being his authentic self.

“He’s like, ‘That dude just showed me a dead alien,’” Reznor allegedly told Rubin. “Nobody else could conduct themselves in that way, and it be normal, but [Tom’s] just so unapologetically him. It’s infectious. It’s great. I’ll always remember that.”

Tom Delonge Previously Left Blink 182 To Launch ‘To The Stars Academy’

DeLonge’s love of aliens and extraterrestrial phenomena is well known. In 2015, he left Blink-182 to launch the ‘To The Stars Academy.’ He’s also been the executive producer of a six-part docuseries titled Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation.

“For a long period of time, material was largely classified, and it was classified for good reasons — for issues dealing with national security,” DeLonge told PEOPLE in 2017. “But thanks to the partners at To The Stars Academy, we now have a vehicle to transition a lot of those learnings over to the public for the first time.”

DeLonge isn’t the only person to be heavily into aliens and the conspiracies regarding them. However, sharing those images at a wedding may be a step too far for those who don’t share his enthusiasm. Still, when you’re a successful musician across two bands, you can pretty much show people anything alien-related, and they’ll probably listen.
