MALVERN — The hometown Malvern Leopards continued their surge in league baseball competition Tuesday and prevailed convincingly against the visiting Little Rock Mills University Studies Comets 12-2 at Leopard Yard.

For the first conference home match-up for the Diamond Leopards didn’t disappoint the hometown fans that led to a 10-run victory. Malvern improved to 2-0 in conference and defeated Fountain Lake and LR Mills to remain unbeaten in 4A-5 South play thus far.

Malvern’s Carter Pulley electrified the execution and collected four hits in four at bats and blasted a home run out of Hot Spring County in the sixth inning— singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fourth inning to display one of his overall best performances wearing the  Leopard baseball uniform.
