This particular artefact in the Van Museum in Turkey looked very "South American" to me.
Most likely just a co-incidence, but wanted to share nevertheless.
The museum label said "Yezidi Tombstone, limestone, Ottoman Period".

It’s a fascinating piece. Any interpretations of who or what that represents? Is that a party hat, rays of sun or knowledge from above ?
