    They know exactly where those people are. Whether they’re alive or not, I’d put a lot of money on the CIA not being in the dark about it.

    Tom Clancy had this in his Rainbow Six novel in 1998… Shooting through walls at heartbeats highlighted by the slight electrical pulse they generate through some kind of mounted optic. If they had it back then, I can’t imagine how good the current gen is.
