Description:
My brother and I were sitting outside on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, at around 16:13.
The photos were taken between 16:13 and 16:17.
We were looking south–southeast from Bad Ischl, in the Salzkammergut region of Austria.
The camera used was a Samsung S23 Ultra, and the photos were taken at roughly 71% zoom.
The object appeared to reflect sunlight in a random pattern.
My brother and I ruled out an airplane, helicopter, or balloon.
It was moving away from us and gaining altitude. Its movement wasn’t erratic—just slow and steady. It didn’t seem to be drifting with the wind, at least from what we could tell.
Eventually, it simply disappeared into the distance.
Given its flight path, it must have been closer to us earlier; we just didn’t notice it until later.
